Bent Branderup® "Dressage" New

The Bent Branderup® "Dressage" This saddle opens the door between two worlds. The Bent Branderup® Dressage combines the modern look of a dressage saddle with the flexibility of our Education and School Saddles. The special feature: the Bent Branderup® Dressage is equipped with the same large, soft panels that are characteristic for all our saddles. They distribute the rider's weight over the entire contact area and at the same time allow a unique closeness to the horse's back. The saddle rim creates the typical feeling of a dressage saddle, while the seat can be adjusted to the rider and individually padded in just a few steps. In addition, the saddle has a flexible leather tree as well as a head and an efter iron, which give it the necessary stability. High-quality leather meets loving craftsmanship, just as the innovative technology of our traditional saddles meets contemporary design. The academic spirit is dedicated to lifelong learning and openness. Let's build on the proven, historical foundation of the art of riding and create new perspectives together through vision, experience and tolerance. Customizing and Adjustment Each Bent Branderup® Dressage will be fitted individually. If you contact us, we make an appointment for a test. For the appointment we will bring a test saddle that we can easily adjust to you and your horse for a little ride to get a first impression and a feeling for the saddle. The test ride is followed by a precise measurement process. We take measurements at five different points that document the shape of the horse's back, determine the size of the head iron and decide for the optimal cushion form as well as the required panel distance (freedom for the spine). If you have questions about the saddle or if you wonder whether this is the right tool for you, please do not hesitate to contact us.   Technical details: Size: customised productionBack length (front edge to back edge of the pad): 49cmSeat length: 34 cmFlap (thread of the seat leather to the bottom of the flap): 39 cmSeat cushion: individually adjustable through wool filling   Included in the delivery: Saddle 200g wool filling Warranty card Velcro knee roll (optional)   Available in the shop: Saddle cover Saddle blanket Girth Stirrups Stirrup straps (have to be ordered separately if you decide for the safety stirrup bars)   Attention: This item cannot be exchanged/revoked.   Minor color changes are possible due to varying light conditions during photography, as well as production-related.

Riding a Bent Branderup® pad or saddle Riding a Bent Branderup® pad or saddle can feel like a curse or a blessing!

The most important thing here is correct seat filling that is individually adapted to the hips and pelvis. You can do the upholstery yourself using the included upholstery wool. It is also rare, but possible, for the cushion filling to not fit the horse. In this case, we strongly recommend contacting one of our saddler partners who can correct the filling for you.

Below we would like to give you a few suggestions and tips on how to properly and comfortably upholster the seat filling in order to get a nice riding experience.

This is how you find the optimal wool filling for the balance of your pelvis

On the School Saddle, the opening for padding the seat is located underneath the seat. To access this, the screws on the front gallery must be opened. The seat can then be raised and wool inserted to give your hip joint the freedom of movement it needs.

The balance of the pelvis is essential for a comfortable sitting experience and clear communication with the horse. A balanced pelvis also allows the upper body and legs to follow the movement of the hips without additional tension and not to interfere with them.

If the pelvis is not positioned correctly, compensatory tensions arise that affect the suppleness of horse and rider. This often manifests itself as pain while riding.

With the help of the right cushion filling, the pelvis comes into balance so that the knees and thighs can find the correct position without strain.
